Onterrible.com (link)

A site I created to represent the various mountain bike video projects I've worked on over the past few years. A photoshop/css2/xhtml effort.
Struck By Truth v2 (link)

This is a total redesign of Brampton area hardcore band Struck By Truth's site, based around the band's new album artwork. I was sent the original Illustrator files and fonts for the cover art by the designer and was asked to use elements of it in the design. The top navigation is flash based and the rest of the site is valid xhtml & css2.
TrinityTheatre.ca (link)

A company site redesign job featuring both html and flash versions. I took Trinity's existing logo and photography and used it to create a new look for their new domain using Flash and validated XHTML transitional & CSS 2.

The first version of the site you are now looking at. The layout was created in Illustrator and coded with Dreamweaver. I still think the site looks visually good (though it could use more texture), but find that the content area (red section) is too small, hence the redesign.

I designed this site between 2001 and 2002, and I'm glad to say that I still think the design holds up even if the code is ugly. I used to listen to and collect a great deal of music by the band Nine Inch Nails (and still do to some extent), so I figured it would be a good idea for me to turn some of the themes found in the music into digital art that people could look at. I also found that there were many other people like me who wanted to display their NIN-themed art, so I decided I'd create a site where anyone could do this. People would email me their work with a short write-up, and I would make them a portfolio page. To make it easier for people to come up with designs, I included a bunch of photos on the site that anyone could use for digital manipulation.

I made this for the final assignment in my second semester web coding class. The emphasis of this project was code that worked properly, so the design ended up being a less than wonderful. It was driven by ColdFusion and MySQL, and featured a login screen, a form that submitted info to an email address (with a confirmation page), and a fake t-shirt order form that when submitted was added to a results page where it could be edited or deleted. For the sake of keeping my instructor from receiving random emails from my site, you'll just have to believe me when I say that it worked. Made with Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop.
I redesigned this site in 2002 for a client in Nova Scotia who wanted a new look for the company's image. Using Photoshop & Dreamweaver, I took existing photos and gave the site a warm, east-coast feel to it. MGC is no longer an established company..
This was the home page for my "company" which consists of me and one other person. We shoot video of crazy things being done on bicycles, then I edit the footage into fun segments for downloading. In 2003 we released an hour long video on VHS..this year it'll be a DVD. This site was designed using Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Onterrible.com is the new home of POV Productions.
This is pretty self explanatory..it's a resume I made in my first semester (2003) for a web coding class. Its pure tables combined with two images.
I made this site for my sister Caitlin's radio show which was on the University of Waterloo's community radio station, CKMS (100.3 FM, 95.5 on cable). The main purpose of the site was to allow for her to be able to publish each week's play lists online so that people who listen in can find out what crazy music was on air, as well as what new good albums were being released. I was a guest host on several occasions, and we'd usually do some kind of fun theme show like where we pick an artist and play a musical version of the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon game. I also did some audio recording work while I was there by making a few goofy station ID promos, and a couple of commercials for Subsonic Filter. Great fun!
This is the oldest site I've worked on (it was built in 2000) that I still have possession of.. I lost some good high school stuff on a faulty hard drive a few years ago..
